An online player from New Jersey has made history by winning the largest online casino jackpot in the history of the United States. The historic win happened a few days ago on BetMGM’s online gambling platform.
BetMGM Casino reported that a player had won its historic $6,450,023 progressive jackpot. In a news release on August 21, the company said that a player had won the life-changing sum on a $200 wager. In addition to claiming the huge pot, the player will also be gifted a trip to an MGM Resort, in line with the company’s policy for players who win over $500,000.

The win was notably part of BetMGM’s The Big One prize pool, a pool from the company’s proprietary slots. The prize could be won by any online player engaging with the BetMGM, Borgata, Wheel of Fortune Casino and Party Casino platforms.
